  2. Scope of Film-Making in India • India alone contributes as the largest producer of films. The need for well trained professional film makers has been raised due to increasing rise in the demand for films. • Film makers now have increased business due to artistic representation of their products like films, short films, series etc. • Film makers now have greater options as number of researchers and celebrities now hire professional film-makers to record their stories and findings on film.

  3. Opportunities as a Film-Maker • As a film maker, one aspires to work with very famous production houses for which they need to have a proper training and guidance. • Also there are other sectors to work in like social services, freelancing, entrepreneurial role, advertising agencies, marketing firms etc. to show their talent.

  4. Producer • Producer is a person who comes up with ideas for new shows, movies and then makes a choice for director, scripts and hire writers. • There are no specific training required for producers, educational degree in arts and business management will help pursue film making courses in Mumbai.

  5. Cinematographer • Film and television camera operators use specialized cameras to record motion pictures and television shows and broadcasts. Camera operators who film motion pictures are called cinematographers. • Cinematographers do not operate cameras themselves but are responsible for directing the camera operators to ensure correct shooting as per the plan.

  6. Camera Operator • Camera operators are the person who handles & manipulate the camera and equipment to obtain different lighting, focus and exposure effects. • Camera operators are normally responsible for the maintenance of the camera equipment.

  7. Director • Pursuing career in film making and cinema industry need bachelor's degree and further it depends upon the career being chosen to continue. • Having bachelor's degree in arts, management, film & theater arts can be helpful for the one who aspire for producers & directors.
