  4. pleased to visit animal care home by staff reporter Kolkata , august 1: To become witness of prosperity of humanity I visited Mahatma Gandhi animal care home as an active member of animal lovers club which works for the animal’s welfare. The motto of this organization is “ The one who loves the living is serving god “ . In this home all injured dogs and cats are treated with upgraded medicine . They creates all arrangement to feed all infant and abandoned pet animals . The overaged animals are getting appropriate medical support with good hands . This home’s members recruits well-experienced veterinary surgeons to provide proper care for all living . The authority hired all developed medial equipments and rooms to giving them best features . All surroundings of this home are decorated with greenish trees and colourful flowers which are maintained by a florist. That’s my privilege to getting big opportunity as a behalf of this club .As we needs all livings to keep balance our eco system, The health minister are giving importance to set in animal hospitals across India in recent times. Cleanliness programme arranged by a club By a staff reporter August 4, Sonarpur.A cleaning drive was organized by ABC club in D block, Sonarpur, yesterday.Thelocal people and students were also participated in the programme. All garbage were wiped out from the locality in an industrious manner, stagnant water bodies were cleaned up.Somestaffs of vector control department were invited to do disinfection work.Everybodyshowed zeal towards cleaning. The programme included plantation of trees and distribution of ample dustbins to dispose of garbage, sanitary napkins and products like phenyl, hand sanitizer so that the people can maintain cleanliness and personal hygiene. Within a little time the surroundings look a posh look.This kind of cleaning drive is best way where locals can learn and imbibe the habit of keeping their areas clean and such monsoon cleanliness programme can also restrain the spread of mosquito borne diseases.   8. Swach Bharat Abhiyan at Howrah By a Staff Reporter Howrah,Aug 3 : A Cleaning driver was organised by Nutan dal Club at howrah on 2nd august. The main purpose of this event was to create awareness about the clean environment among the locals. It was very well organised and the voluntary participation of the locals was noticeable.The Clean drive was participated by around 25 peoples.The whole area was cleaned by brooms and Bleaching powder was used as a disinfectant.The Counsilor of the locality also participated in the event. He also said that as the monsoon season is approaching and like every year it is the main time for various diseases like Dengue, Malaria, So we have to clean our household as well as the locality. Continual cleaning programme by Youth Club in Hooghly - By a Staff Reporter Hooghly, Aug 5 : A local club, named Youth Club of Balagarh in Hooghly district have continued their bi-weekly clearing operation. The program was held on 4th August. It was started around 9 a.m. Most of the people of the area participated in this programme. They gathered in the club premises with baskets, buckets, spades and brooms. They performed it as a team work. They were divided into 3 teams. At first, one team started to cut the weeds of the entire locality . Then, other team cleaned up the garbage. After that, the another team cleaned up the drainage system. Garbage was dumped in certain place. They sanitized the whole area with dettol and phenyl. Local councillor was present there. He gave a speech about environmental cleanliness and awareness. He appreciated the programme and assured the locals about any kind of help. The club authority also announced their next date of clearing operation. It will be held on aug 19.   10. Cleanliness – Next to Godliness By the staff reporter Kolkata, August 01. On the occasion of the World Environment Day, Delhi Public School organised a cleanliness drive in the immediate vicinity of Rajbari colony. The students of the school were very much excited to take part in the rally organised by the school. As a part of this drive, the Principal himself started scrubbing a small area in the locality. Some students took initiative to clean the surroundings while the others visited the nearby apartments and suggested the dwellers , the various steps which could be taken for improvement of health and hygiene. The students of kindergarten created posters with the help of their class teacher while a few students explained some of the commuters about the importance of segregation of biodegradable and non biodegradable wastes in two different dustbins. The students and the teachers unitedly picked up some wrappers scattered all around and threw them in the trash. Each and every student took part in the essay competition arranged by the school. Students of classes 1 to 4 participated in the exhibition on sanitisation while the seniors took active participation in street plays. The cleanliness programme ended with a short speech, on nurturing the greenenvironment for future generations, delivered by the Principal. Numerous pictures of this event werepublished in the newsletter of the school. It was a wonderful experience for the students and staffs of the school.   12. A Cleaning Drive Programmeby SakalSandhaClub. By a staff reporter. Kolkata, 5th August. On 1st August Sakal Sandha club organiseda cleanliness drive programmein their locality inspired by the "clean India mission" started by Narendra Modi to increase awareness among the citizens. ABC ,The Honorable MP in the locality was the special guest . At first he delivered a speech on the importance of the cleanliness programme organisedby the club and then inaugurated the programmeby cleaning the club premises with a broom in his hand .The members of the club picked broom and started doing the job atonce. Inspired by them many local people started joining with them. The numbers of participators continued to grow gradually . One of the members of the club informed media that the program was a grand success. Having delivered a valuable speech to the mass the chairman of the club ended this program at the end of the day. He honouredthe sweepers and scavengers for their service towards our society . He explained in detail the "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" initiative taken by Modiji. He urged the people of this area to co-operate with one another during sanitization . This business inspired the mass a lot doing this job independently in a regular basis to keep their house and surrounding clean .
