  2. Introduction • Knowledge issue: What are the social and ethical implications of lack of security in present days? • We define security as “the state of being free from danger or injury” when such injury is caused by other human beings.

  3. Introduction • The world, specially developing nations, suffer greatly from insecurity of all sorts. • For many reasons, people seek achieve things through incorrect ways.

  4. Gangs • Need a feeling of belonging. • Driven to do unethical things. • Becomes way of life.

  5. Corruption • People misuse their job or position in society on purpose for their own goal. • Can be used by illicit organizations. • Crumbles society.

  6. Assassination • Terribly unethical resource used when someone is on the way for somebody else´s goals. • Creates an atmosphere of brutality.

  7. Terrorist Threats • United States is the country that receives the largest number of threats. • In the U.S. terrorist have attempted with destruction of buildings. • Last year there was a terrorist threat in South Africa at a soccer game between England and the U.S.

  9. Terrorist Threats • People commonly use hasty generalization with Arabs • U.S. people have careful when they see Arabs in airport. • Society in the United States tend to see Arabs as dangerous

  10. Kidnapping • Happens in most countries around the world. • Kidnappers ask for some money in exchange • May traffic people they kidnap • It affects humans since know they can´t calm about walking in their neighborhood

  11. Assaults • Assaults happen everyday in every part of the world • People result: -Injured -Damaged -Stolen • Ad Hominem and Hasty Generalization
