Ordering an EVA • Watson will automatically select a rack, side panels and PDU with Shock Pallet • This results in the same configuration as today’s orders – just uses 3 SKUs instead of 1 • Shock Pallet is the only rack order applicable to EVA purchases • AF002A = 42u rack • AF012A = 36u rack

  15. 2006 Key Actions • 4GB transition • focus on our installed base • The StorageWorks Enterprise portfolio is ready for the transition • EMC is not ahead of the game with 4GB (opportunity) • AIS improvements • Attach more BC – Goal 70% BC to EVA attach • Focus on the new frames as well as installed base programs is key for the enterprise business • Competitors are more focused on getting the attach rate right • EVA off Warranty • EVAs are now coming off warranty (3years warranty on original EVA) • There are opportunities for re-engaging our customers and discuss either hardware upgrade/replacement or extension of their support • Use the 4GB transition to discuss with customers
