The restart of the NA after LS1 • The proposal is made to • Complete the irradiated cable replacement campaign in the LSS1 of the SPS in time for the start up of the cold checkout for June 27th 2014 • Prepare the irradiated cable replacement campaign in the TDC2 of the North Area for October 13th until the start up of the commissioning with beam of the SPS • Carry-out a proton run of the NA between October 13th 2014 and December 15th 2014 • Complete the irradiated cable replacement campaign in the TDC2 of the North Area until April 15th 2015 (tbc) LS1 & the restart of the North Experimental Area

  3. An ion run in 2015 • If we want an ion run (NA61) in parallel with LHC commissioning early 2015, an additional interlock system requiring cables between BA5 and BA3 as well as BA2 and BA3 must be made available LS1 & the restart of the North Experimental Area

  4. The splitter area of the NA TDC 2 • Replacement, removal and relocation of cables transiting over the beam line two splitters LS1 & the restart of the North Experimental Area
