Colony’s name: Delaware ( The First State )

Colony founder: Peter Minuit

Peter Minuit ended up owning the land because he gave the people freedom, good farming land, and protection.

Peter Minuit wanted to see the land to start as new colony, and the land was protected by wind and ocean waves , the land was also really good for farming.

Delaware’s significance to early America was the usage of log cabins. These buildings were sturdy and rugged. They also is one of the most enduring symbols of our nations history.
