  2. Navigation & Home Log in takes you to Home Page – New Look • Home Page Banner • Logos can be uploaded • Agency/Program name will display • Date appears • User name/ServicePoint Access Level

Navigation & Home Log in takes you to Home Page – New Look • No more Green Tabs across the top – all navigation buttons are on the left side of the screen User settings allow for tabs to be hidden if not needed Each module will have a unique color stripe and logo that will remain visible when in the module for easy identification

  4. Navigation & Home • Last Viewed – Links will appear for you to quickly navigate to the last 10 client profiles accessed Lessand Morelinks will allow you to expand or collapse these as needed Clients will display with name and id #

  5. Navigation & Home • Favorites– Links can be added for users to quickly navigate to up to 10 clients, providers, or administrative functions they visit often. Clients can be added at the profile page, the household page, services page, etc. and will appear protected with their id numbers in () Lessand Morelinks will allow you to expand or collapse these as needed Edit Favorites link allows users to change the order of the favorites or delete favorites from the list

  6. Time Out • Prior to automatic timeout - new warning message has now been included! The following warning message will appear if you are about to be timed out: Clicking on Continue will reset the timeout clock for another 30 minutes Clicking on Logoff will log you out and will return you to the log in screen

  7. Collapse & Expand Navigation • Clicking an arrow/triangle will expand a list or a section of the screen • Use the arrows/triangles to open or close a submenu or to create more workspace on the screens • Users can hide the menu if desired, by clicking on the right-hand border of the menu

Collapse & Expand Navigation • Home Page Banner – can be collapsed for more space on screen • Use White triangles to collapse or expand • Mode – Enter data as will display on Home Page Banner • Back Date Mode - entered here and remains in effect throughout the client record Note: Navigation tab collapse function will be disabled when BACK DATE are being used

  9. More Home Page Changes • System News and Agency News – • Now appear as links for more space on page • Click a news item to open and view • Sorted by date • You will be able to change the order in which news items appear

Congue tortor cursus risus nisl, luctus augue • Enter the Household Type • Designate 1 person as “Yes”, Head of Household • Relationship to Head of Household = Self • NOTE: Only one member of the household grouping should be listed as the Head of Household. All other member relationships should be based on who was designated the Head of Household. • Date Entered* = Date of Intake or Arrival into the program. • Date Removed is NOT the client’s exit from the program! Clients generally are not removed from the household, even if they exit a program.

  17. Add each member of the household in the “Edit Household” window. Be sure that all members and their relationships appear in the “Household Overview before closing the window. Take your time and follow the windows as they appear!

  19. Assessments now fill based upon Provider and Provider type selected in Step # 2 • i.e. HUD – 40118, HPRP, Sample Header Slide 3 4.   20. Click on the Pencil of the Entry Date for EACH Household Member. The page will reload. Complete the “Entry Assessment”. Repeat for all. Sample Header Slide 3 5.   22. Assessments are sets or groupings of questions. Enter the data elements required by your provider! Each provider can have a different set of assessments available.   27. After you Save the service you default to the “View Previous Service Transactions” screen.   30. ShelterPoint Select the Provider and Unit List you wish to work with then click on “Check Client In” Client Enters your Housing Progam

  31. Once the “Check Client In” is selected the following unit list will appear. From here click on the Check In icon or “Empty” unit.

  32. You will perform a Client Search and select the client from the Client Result area or add client information. Client ID number can also be used.

  33. Once a client is selected you will be able to change the time of Check In, make additional notes and select the Entry Provider and Type.

  34. To add an entire household: Assign each Household member to a Unit by clicking on the “Assign Unit” button. From the pop up screen select an Unit from the drop down list or select Overflow.

  35. After Save and Exit is applied you will be exited to the ShelterPoint Dashboard. To verify client(s) were checked select “View All.”

  36. Client completes your program (or leaves your program) When your client is no longer receiving service from a program you are ready to “Exit” the client. Click on the pencil and fill out all appropriate responses. Make sure you “edit” any information that has changed from Entry. Primarily Monthly Income and Non-cash Benefits (remember your End Dates)

  37. Client leaves your Housing Program When a client leaves your Housing Program you are ready to “Check-out” the client Click on “View All” Click on the Red Minus sign Enter Date Out Just as ShelterPoint creates your “entry” this step will also automatically create your “exit” In addition your “shelter stay” service will also be ended automatically.

Congue tortor cursus risus nisl, luctus augue • Reports now appear in a dash board format instead of on a drop down or as links – click on the icon to access the report you wish to run • Daily Bed Report is now called Daily Unit Report • Clicking on the arrow in the menu will expand quick links for easy access
