MATH 2008 Pertinent Information 292 of the 347 10th graders that the state used as our sophomore class, are currently enrolled this year. 55 of the10th graders did not enroll at KHS as 11th graders. We have 31 new 11th graders that were not enrolled as 10th graders last year. (86 kids either entered or left last year’s sophomore class during 4th quarter.)

    68. Summation KeHS is a culturally diverse high school that adds to the overall education and experiences of our students. Ethnic diversity as well as free and reduced lunch percentages continue to rise each year. 92% of the students who are in math classes identified at or above grade level scored as being on track for college readiness on the ASSET test Latino WASL Math and Writing Scores are up. We are closing the achievement gap for all students We are committed to improving reading and math levels of our student thus raising literacy for all our students. We are committed to provide programs such as I.B. and music that attract students to our school. We are succeeding in increasing IB enrollment.

    69. Summation continued Continuing to raise awareness, money and volunteers to beautify KHS. Last year we had two Nation Merit Finalists. This year we have one National Merit Semi-finalist (Alexis Rice) and two commented scholars. We have 46 students in Running Start We have 73 students attending Tri Tech.

    70. Last year : we had over $800,000 in scholarships given to our graduating seniors. Our students won the spirit chain competition raising over $34,000 Our football team made it to the 3A quarter finals Our Baseball team won the state championship Our Knowledge Bowl team won the state championship and finished 17th in the nation
