  6. Developing Improved Governance Using our experiences to work alongside our clients in the development of strategies to satisfy both commercial and technical demands. Project Examples FSM IPT: Key role within Wessex prior to formation of FSM IPT. Currently providing Programme and Cost Management. ARTD: developed the project governance structure and conducted stakeholder analysis NNuclear Decommisioning: Provided guidance to NDA and BNG on project control policy and strategy Type 45 IPT: Review of procurements options, requirements management and systems engineering. Currently leading scoping exercise to support change programme. CND IPT: Advised on contractual requirements for effective project controls Outcomes • Establishing and managing stakeholder’s objectives • Development of strategies to achieve desired objectives • Establishing clear structures and boundaries

Establishing and Maintaining Control Create the environment, processes and tools for to successful strengthen our clients ability to understand and deliver projects to time and cost Project Examples FRES and Type 45 IPT: Provision of Programme and Risk Management support. Special Projects: Conducted Integrated Baseline Review and implemented corrective actions to deliver an effective earned value management system NIMROD: Led reform programme; implementing improved project control systems and a deliverable programme. PPartnering Review Model: Provided Independent assessment of the effectiveness of partnering processes e.g. HMS Illustrious re-fit. Collins Class: Generated a high level concept design and produced a detailed programme cost estimate for development, manufacture and support Outcomes • Implementation of strategies • Establishing processes • Measuring progress towards project goals

Independent Assurance Independent, impartial advice that generates confidence in the deliverability of your programmes and helps to maintain relationships through the supply chain Project Examples CPost Management: Support major programmes through provision of the investment appraisal and budgetary e.g. FSC, MARS, and OMAR. WWatchkeeper Reviews: Facilitated Integrated Baseline Reviews throughout the supply chain and supported Tier 1 and 2 suppliers in the improvement of project control processes. IIntelligence Services: Provision of independent Project Diagnostics to increase confidence in the ability of contractors to deliver essential capability. ASTOR: Independent assessment of project ISD to support programme review note Outcomes • Independent assurance in the validity of project performance processes and information • Support Client Contractor relationships
