  2. Purpose Triamcinolone and Bevacizumab were intravitreallyadministered to patients with posterior Uveites andthose with diabetic/BRVO-associated macular edema, respectively and efficacy of the drug injectionduring cataract surgery was evaluated. So the result will be reported.

  3. Material / Methods Pars plana injection of drugs were made into the vitreous cavity following 2mm incision, phacoemulsification and cataract extration. Pars plana injection

  4. Triamcinolone 4mg administered Posterior uveites : 7eyes/5patients Bevacizumab 1mg administered Diabetic macular edema : 14eyes/11patients BRVO : 8eyes/8patients 29eyes/24patients Anterior chamber flare :Kowa Laser Flare Macular thickness :Zeiss,Cirrus HD-OCT.

  12. Conclusion It was concluded that pars plana injection of the drug during cataract extraction by phacoemulsification was effective for the improvement of postoperative visual acuity of patients with prolonged uveites and with diabetic/BRVO-associated macular edema.
