  3. Questions • What are thebestactionsto do ifthereisanimminentdisaster? • Whatkinds of disasters are there? • How much warning time do people get to prepare for a typical disaster? • What kinds of disaster have caused loss of life? • How should we prepare for these?

  4. What are thebestactionsto do ifthereisanimminentdisaster? • The first to do is to stay in calm because , the people that don’t stay in calm make fatal mistakes that can cost the life. Then you have to be in a safety place. During this take the necessary elements that you need and the leave another safety place

  5. Whatkinds of disasters are there? • Aroundtheworld are manydisasters, like : • Earthquakes • Tornadoes • Landslide • Hurricane • Volcanoes Erupti0ns • Floods

  6. How much warning time do people get to prepare for a typical disaster? • The warning times depends for the disaster that occurs because on volcano eruptions there is an specific time and also in Tsunamis and hurricanes. • But are others like landslide, tornadoes and earthquakes that don’t have an specific tme.

  7. What kinds of disaster have caused loss of life ? • All the natural disaster cause the loss of life even the minimum. The disasters are: • Tornadoes • Earthquakes • Hurricanes • Tsunamis

  8. How should we prepare for these? Essential Elements • Water • Medications • Survival kits • Firstaids kits • Food

  9. Evacuation plans • Keep a full tank of gas in your car because during the disaster the gas stations could be close. • Turn off all energy consumers on your house because it could explode. • Leave early enough to avoid being trapped by severe weather. • Follow recommended evacuations routes. Do not take shortcuts; they may be blocked
