Cannot solicit or fire just because not a Christian An espoused Christian is not necessarily a mature Christian Cannot ask if a person has these traits, but can discern from questions asked Get spouse’s opinion, especially when hiring managers Don’t interview people of the opposite sex alone 3

  5. Hiring Decisions Why we hire the wrong people: • Fail to ask enough questions • Hidden expectations • Unresolved conflicts • Our own impatience • Fear that God won’t provide

"Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed quickly, therefore the hearts of the sons of men among them are given fully to do evil." (Ecclesiastes 8:11)
