Summary • Split systems are joined together with a line set. • The Indoor unit can be located in the basement, attic, crawl space, and garage. • The Outdoor unit can be located side, rear, roof of the home or office. • The line set is copper tubing and thermostat wiring to connect indoor and out door • Condensate water must be drained from the indoor coil toan open drain or lift pump • Thermostat should be heating and cooling and centrally located • The Air Filter should be easily accessible for changing.
