  6. For example Theme Communication Problem Solving Skill: SmartBoard/Presention Tools & PowerPoint Standard: K.R.2.1 -Students can comprehend and respond to text read aloud. K.R.3.3 Students can distinguish fiction from nonfiction Tool:

  7. ENRICH • Adds a dimension to your teaching • Hits more learning styles or higher levels of thinking • Can include multiple skills/content area • Motivates the less “bookish” student • Engages the 21st Century student

Theme For example:“Breakout from the North Carolina Zoo” Communication & Collaboration Skill: Internet Resources + websites+ presentation tools + other web application(s) Tool: Standard(s): 5.R.5.3 Students can choose references to meet the needs of an assigned task. 5.L.3.3 Students are able to describe how interrelationships enable some organisms to survive. 5.G.1.1 Students are able to apply longitude/latitude to find absolute locations on a map. 5.G.1.2 Students are able to compare maps of different types and scales.
