FLOWCHART ASSIGNMENT • The process investigated is the thesis submission stages for MSc students of KFUPM. • After public defense, corrections, approval of thesis committee and department chairman. • The subsequent stages are depicted in the flowchart in the next slide while a suggested improvement after a brainstorming session with my group members is shown in slide 4.
Student submit hardcopy of thesis for review at DGS office Native speaker review • Errors found Student makes corrections Dean’s signature and stamp Student makes pdf copies, put in CD copies and upload Thesis to KFUPM website Student make photocopies Student goes to Dammam for hardcover binding Student submits bounded copies and CDs at DGS office
