  4. Justification • -Synergies or negative interactions between this new herbicide and other agrochemicals, growth regulators and insecticide, and on integrated pest and crop management strategies

  5. Objectives • -Investigate effects of insecticides and plant growth regulators when co-applied with MON 3539 (Roundup Herbicide) on Roundup Ready Flex cotton. • -Determine if possible effects are influenced by cotton growth stage at time of application.

  6. Materials and Methods • Northeast Research Station, St. Joseph LA in 2005 and 2006 • ST4554B2RF • RCB; factorial treatment arrangement; 4 replications • Plots 6.67’ x 12’ • Tractor mounted compressed air sprayer; 110 02; 32 PSI; 15 GPA.

  15. Conclusion -When applied according to labeled rates in Roundup Ready Flex cotton varieties ®, Roundup Flex herbicide® co-applications can offer producers the ability to integrate pest and crop management strategies and reduce application costs with minimal effect on crop.
