  2. About them • Cockatiels are birds. The smallest from the parrot family they are very intelligent pets. • They are fun to keep at home always keep you company. • Very friendly • They sing a lot mostly males females not as much. • Amazing to keep

  3. How they look • Cockatiels come in a variety of different coulers like yellow , white , grey and sometimes even mixed. • They have red cheeks • And hair standing up on there head for awareness like mohawks. • They have long tails • And a tiny small peak

  4. teaching tricks • Teaching a cockatiel tricks can be easy but you need patience • You can teach them tricks like : • eating there own food • going to sleep on time • making them sing what you want • make them play with toys • make them listen to you • make them come out of the cage by themselves • Cleaning up there toys • Fly when you tell them too • Bow there head down • Spin around somersault • Go up and down the ladder • But this all takes a lot of time and treats for them they cant learn everything in one day maybe 1 per day if you try hard enough

  5. Buying a cage • It depends how big your bird is • Mostly if its one bird a medium sized cage would work it would be about 25$ • If you have more then 2 buy the big ones • about 40$ • They need a lot of room to spread there wings and move around

  6. How to know if your cockatiel is sick. . If its Vomiting . A lot Dullness .Trouble breathing .Changes in appetite . Quick feather growth .Too fluffed up wings .Sleeping with both feet on perch .Sitting on ground not perch .Sunken eyes . And soreness

Food they can eat and can not eat. • Cockatiels can eat a lot of things but cant eat specific things aswell • Can eat : • Cooked chicken • turkey have to be hard boiledEggs • greens peas • mashed Cottage cheese Broccoali some Brussel sprouts • cleerycorn, • , some Carrots • , veggies. • Do not ever feed any thing old or moldy. Somethins like Peanuts and nuts contain a type of dangerous wired fungus. Everytime read labels on foods try not to buy food that have chemicals, additives or products high in fat, sugar, and or some sodiums. 

  8. How cockatiels get along • Cockatiels are loving birds they get along very quickly. • They need at least 2 days to get to know you or the bird with them they don’t get use to you or the bird just like that • if you bother it might not get along nicely with you.

  9. Why they may bite • Sometimes when cockatiel get scared or nervous or think the are in danger they mite hiss and if you continue they may bite unless they are used to your hand meaning ok with you and trust you. • Cockatiels might bite you or another bird so it gets out of its space or its food.

  10. How to make them sing • It is easy to make them sing because if you play a song in front of them a lot of times they will repeat it buy chirping the tune of it • You just have to play a song a lot of times or a rhythm in front of them.
