  3. ACM是什么? • Association for Computing Machinery (http://www.acm.org) • 成立于1947年 • 致力于促进信息技术、科学和应用的发展的国际性科研与教育组织 • 78000名会员 • 期刊、杂志、特别兴趣组（SIG）、学术会议和专题讨论会 • “图灵奖”由ACM颁发

  4. ICPC是什么？ • International Collegiate Programming Contest (http://icpc.baylor.edu/) • 始于1970年，成形于1977年 • 2004年 • 71个国家，1582所大学，4109个队伍参赛 • 78个大学/队伍获得决赛资格

  5. ICPC赛制 • 地区赛（Regional Contests） • 每年下半年举行（9-12月） • 2005年，亚洲有11个赛区，大陆有3个（北大、浙大、川大） • 每赛区至少一个进入决赛的名额 • 世界决赛（World Final） • 每年上半年举行 • 每所大学只允许派一个队

  12. 校内竞赛规则 • 4月8日前在acm网站答题5道以上，获得参赛资格 • 比赛时间： • 4月10日，8:30-13:30 • 比赛地点： • 网站通知 • 一人一机，可携带纸版资料 • 按答题数排名 • 答题数相同，按答题时间排名 • 提交程序不通过一次，罚时20分钟
