  3. In a land far far away, there lived a kind Prince, named Alexander. He always heard rumors of an evil witch. One day, as he listened to some guards telling stories in the garden about a witch. “I wonder if the witch is really as mean as everyone says?” he thought to himself. So he set off to find the witch.

  4. The cool spring wind danced with the flower petals, as the prince was getting ready for his adventure. When he got to the town it was empty. Why could that be?

  5. Alexander looked around the empty streets of the town. There was not a soul in sight. Every store was closed. As he wondered the streets, he came across a girl wearing all black. She was wandering around, lost and she had a black cat following her.

  6. Alexander had never seen a girl like her before, dressed in all black. He decided to go talk to her.

  7. Alexander wandered up to the girl, “Hello, I‘m Alexander, what’s you name?” he asked kindly.The girl stared at him blankly.

  8. The girl looked at Alexander as she quietly spoke, “Rosalinda.” Rosalinda was feeling a bit nervous, no one had ever really talked to her before. Alexander smiled at her, “Do you know what happened to everyone?” he asked as she looked down at her feet.

  9. Rosalinda nodded, “They are scared of me.. because I’m a witch,” she said as she looked at Alexander. “So what? You don’t seem any different than I am, and you seem nice,” he said with a kind smile.

  10. Rosalinda smiled at Alexander, he was the only one who didn’t treat her differently for being a witch. From that day on, Alexander and Rosalinda always met each day, and over the years they started falling in love. Sadly, they couldn’t be together, because their families didn’t like the idea of a prince and a witch in love.

  11. As they met on the trail they always had. Alexander had an idea, he took off his crown and looked at Rosalinda, “Without my crown, I am just Alexander.” he said as Rosalinda took off her black pointed hat, “And without the witch hat, I am just Rosalinda,” she said as they both smiled at each other.

  12. They both realized without their titles, that people had given them, that they were their own people. It didn’t matter what other people thought, as long as they had each other. They got married and had two children and lived happily ever after.

  13. My name is Stefanie Bollinger. I am Eighteen years old and I am a senior at the Lawrence County Career & Technical Center. My home school is Shenango, and my shop is commercial art.
