  2. Residential Programme • Over 160 + (65%) of schemes have now been delivered • Final schemes are now entering consultation • Currently reporting on responses received during consultation

Schools Programme • Part time advisory 20mph speed limits at schools outside main residential areas • Approximately 204 advisory schemes • 40 + schemes have been constructed • 159 schemes have been consulted on • Consultation process has identified local concerns and amend proposals incl. Simonstone Primary and Strike Lane Primary School, Freckleton

  4. Post Implementation Engagement & Targeted Enforcement Feedback from the public, Members and PACT Organise Speed Surveys Interventions as below Healthy Streets Initiatives School Engagement Enhance Signing SpIDS Police: Driver Education Activities 4. Targeted Enforcement by Police

  5. Community led • Add to the benefits of the introduction of 20mph speed limits in residential areas and outside schools • Promoting more walking and cycling in communities Making it more enjoyable to get out and about.

  6. SpID Programme • 1 SpID per district linked to 20mph speed limit areas • Positively reinforce the 20mph speed limit • Monthly rolling programme developed • Speeding concern sites • Strategic locations where beneficial to reinforce the 20mph speed limit • ‘Clever’ SpID’s capture traffic data
