  3. Tradition • Easter is a holiday of spring, life and flowers. In Britain people usually celebrate it between late March and late April. Easter starts on the Friday before Easter Sunday. The British call it Good Friday. On this day they eat hot cross buns and give children chocolate eggs and chocolate rabbits. Eggs and rabbits are some of the Easter symbols. In the morning on Easter Sunday people go to the church. After that, they have dinner with their families. A very popular Easter tradition is to have an ‘Easter egg hunt’. Parents hide the Easter eggs and their children have to look for them.
