  1. Monday • Copy HW from agenda… • Get food web poster from class stack and immediately get started • Draw an Energy Pyramid on the bottom half of your poster and leave it blank for now…use a ruler!

  2. Energy Pyramid Organisms • Place only the following on the appropriate trophic level of your energy pyramid: • Aphid, grasshopper, fox, bee, butterfly, hawk, bear, mouse, cockroach, worm, millipede, all producers (list them), raccoon, deer

  3. Food Web & Energy Pyramid Poster • Design a food web using the cutouts provided. Make sure arrows point to who GETS the energy!! • Once approved, draw your food web onto the poster provided. (some organisms may not be used) 3. Write a narrative: (rough draft first) INDIVIDUALLY! • Describe how energy moves through your food web starting with the sunlight. • Use the following vocabulary and underline itin your paragraph: organisms, food web, producer/autotroph, consumer/heterotroph, decomposer, energy, abiotic, and biotic.

  4. Food Web Directions Poster Requirements: • Picture and label for each organism. • Cover as much of the paper as possible. • Color must be used. • Neat and organized. • Producers, Consumers, and Decomposers are featured. • At least 1 Abiotic factor is used. • All eight vocabulary words were included AND underlined.
