  2. Students • Early elementary school (1st-3rd Grade) • High motivation to learn through audio and visual learning styles. • Student may have aide in reading or pronouncing words. • Little or no previous knowledge of subject needed.

  3. Objectives Upon completion of this project, “ABC Insects,” students will better be able to identify some common insects by memorizing an acronym that has been made up for this purpose. Towards the end of this project, the students will answer 8 out of 10 questions correct.

  4. Learning Environment • Computer station • Student will read questions alone or with help from aide. • Student will operate the mouse.

  5. WELCOME! Today we are going to learn what an acronym is and then use that to identify some common insects. You can do this all on your own, but if you have any questions simply ask one of your teachers!READY? LETS GO!!!!!
