Punctuate the following sentences • John and Mary decided to take a bike ride to one sunny afternoon. • After John and Mary left their home they decided to stop at the 7-11 down the street from their house to buy bottled water and granola bars • John and Mary headed for the bike trail nearest their home because it was the most fun to ride.

  4. 4. Not far from their home the two bicyclists discovered a new trail so they thought that the new trail could be a new adventure. 5. As they peddled along the new trail they discovered that they were getting quite a workout however neither of them were in very good shape but never the less they kept riding.

  5. 6. Once they got home, they both needed a shower to wash off the road dust. 7. John took his shower first, and left the bathroom a total mess. 8. Something that Mary didn’t appreciate much. 9. Mary ordered John to do these three chores; mop up the bathroom do the laundry and make sure that the towels were folded, and put away.

  6. 10. When a bicyclist rides the bike trails they must always use a helmet. 11. The reason for helmets is because you could suffer severe injuries. 12. As Mary peddled along the bike path she was hit by two careless skateboarders. 13. Her bike tipped over she suffered a skinned knee.
