  1. Midwest Regional ChapterSociety of Quality Assurance Mission Statement: To advance quality concepts and methods to members through meetings, workshops, newsletters and the chapter website and to provide a forum for members to interact with other professionals having the same common interests.

Midwest Regional ChapterSociety of Quality Assurance Goals: • Increase and sustain our membership each year • Attract a greater number of members with GCP, GMP for R&D, and Field Trial backgrounds • Incorporate topics of interest to all members into our meeting programs • Regularly incorporate government regulators' participation into our meeting programs • Seek to attract non-QA professionals who have an interest in advancing quality concepts to our meetings

  3. MWSQA Milestones 1991 – In the beginning17 people signed up for membership, 34 people attended a planning meeting for the new chapter.Approved by-laws and Procedures Committee established and Nominating Committee formed. Established dues at $5.00 per year

  4. MWSQA Milestones 1992 – Chapter is officialMembership increased to 155 people2 meetings held. Spring meeting was in Dayton, OH and the Fall meeting was in Greenfield, IN Society of Quality Assurance ratifies MWSQA bylaws

  5. MWSQA Milestones 1993 - Growing the Chapter Membership expands to 194. Summer meeting held in Madison, WI. Fall meeting held in Dayton, OH. The chapter newsletter, News from the Heartland, was first published.

  6. MWSQA Milestones 1998 - Growth continues Membership is now 275. Winter Meeting was held at Mason, OH. Summer Meeting was held at Kalamazoo, MI. 1999 - Website launched

  7. MWSQA Milestones 2002 – MWSQA is 10 years old! Anniversary meeting to celebrate 10 years of existence as an official chapter was held in Painesville, OH.
