Yleistä • Käyttäjä käyttää WMS/WFS -sovelluksia • www-selaimella • Mozilla-Firefox (SVG-tuki), Konqueror ... • IE (ei Open Source!) • paikallisella erityissovelluksella • uDig (WMS, WFS, PostGIS), OpenEV (WMS, PostGIS) • selainpohjaisilla ei yleensä kysytä dataa suoraan WMS/WFS palveluista, vaan jonkun käyttöliittymäpalvelun kautta
