Divide into 4 groups: • Foundation – limited personal experience with iPhone, iPod, iPad • Emergent – own one; school has devices for student use; used in limited way with students • Innovative – Class sets of devices & use regularly • Transformative – Involved in 1:1 handheld device implementation

  7. Sandpit exploration In pairs explore the iPads and play with the basic applications : • email, contacts, calendar, text • music, clock, notes, voice memos • weather, maps, stocks • youtube, photos, calculator, Safari • iTunes and the Appstore • Wireless: daecpubint/daec11
