Outlook Growing institutional investor demand, confidence and appetite for infrastructure: - 46% of investors planning to increase allocation over the long term. - 69% of investors planning to invest more/same capital in 2014 as in 2013. - 87% of investors feels infrastructure portfolio has met/exceeded expectations. Record number of infrastructure funds on the road: - 151 infrastructure funds currently raising . - Targeting $98bn in institutional investor capital. - $18bn already secured by funds via interim closes. Deal Flow consistently improved: - An estimated aggregate deal value of $333bn in 2013 ($335bn in 2012) - Estimated aggregate deal value was 250% higher in 2013 than in 2009. - An estimated $71bn invested in infrastructure assets so far in 2014.
