The aim of the resource centre:

  • Establish a network of expertise

  • Create a centre that will assist the private sector to

    develop the appropriate infrastructure to address

    HIV/AIDS in the workplace and society at large.

Evolve effective strategies to assist SMME’s

  • Develop a toolkit for companies of 50 – 200 employees

  • Step by step guide

  • Roll out by 1 February 2004

  • Distribute through Chamber and other Business Groups

  • Facilitated workshops to assist with implementation

  • business on HIV/AIDS

  • Increase sustainability & grow capacity
