On September 16th, 1620 the Mayflower (the ship) left England with the Pilgrims ( passangers ) and it arrived in America on November 10th, 1620. There was very cold winter with lots of snow and the Pilgrims didn´t have good houses. In the spring 1621 there were less than 50 Pilgrims.

  5. For the next 200years, thanksgiving was celebrated after harvest. In 1863, President Abraham Lincoln said that would be a national day of thanksgiving.
