  4. Accessibility • Accessibility from any PC that has an internet connection • Uses industry standard virtual private networking • Written for W3C browsers • 24 hours per day availability, 7 days per week

Security • Hosted on one of the most advanced and latest IBM e-server machines • No virus contamination even if the machine accessing it does have a virus • Server security meets US Defense Department Standard • Is NOT written on a windows based platform • VPN access using standard encryption algorithm • Users cannot access core application systems only their individual area • User may change access password if considered compromised • Automatic backup security

First time Operation • Two secure log-ons to identify the user • Set up company detail including • Name and Address • Employer Reference • Payment details • Overtime parameters • Payroll processing type • Standard Allowances and Deductions • Enter individual employee details (conversion from existing system can be provided) • Name and address • Salary details • Tax reference and code • Social Insurance Code • Start Date • Date of Birth, Nationality, Gender

Processing • Start monthly/weekly process • Weekly hours defaulted in from individual employee records • Enter variable payment information e.g. overtime, allowances and deductions • Advance payments can be made at anytime • Complete run and update records • Review and print reports and payslips • Payslips printed on standard A4 no additional stationery required • Standard reports provided • Basic Pay • Overtime • Allowances • Deductions • Income Tax • Social Insurance

  8. Recoverability • Previous runs can be reversed and removed from the system, if update is done in error • Ability to make one off payments to correct any omissions • Reports and payslips can be reprinted at any time. There is currently no timescale for removal
