  4. Library day • Come in and wait for Mrs. Van to help you sit on the carpet or at a table. • Lesson with Mrs. Van Batavia • After the lesson, you will have checkout time. Kindergarten = 1 book. 1stand 2nd graders = 2 books. • Mrs. Van or Ms. Greving can help you find books. • Wait in line patiently to check out your book. • Read quietly when you have checked out your book.

  5. Turning in books • On your library day your teacher will assign students to bring down all of the books. • Stack them in the book return area. • If you would like to renew a book, place a renew slip on it.

  6. Finding a book • Fiction • Non-fiction • Everyone section • Shelf Markers
