  2. Date and Location • September 21-23 • Outside Tyler, TX • Load Luggage Sept 20 5:30-6:30pm • We depart at 9:00 a.m. on the 21 and will return by 2:00 p.m. on the 23

  3. Cost • $175 per camper • $95 per chaperone

  4. At Camp • They will be supervised at all times by camp staff and chaperones • Students and chaperones will reside in fully enclosed climate controlled cabins that have full indoor bathrooms and showers • The students are provided with all meals while at camp

  5. Students will attend a number of outdoor education classes; all TEKS aligned with topics in science, math, social studies, and language arts. Some examples: Orienteering Forestry Critter Problem Solving

  6. Contacting Students • Only emergency calls to students can be made. • No cell phones will be allowed (reception is VERY bad)

  7. What to Bring • We are outside 90% of the time • Lots of walking • Camera • Spending Money • Rain Gear • ONE suitcase/duffel bag and a large bag for carrying sleeping equipment

  8. Luggage Bus • There will be a luggage bus that comes the night BEFORE we go to camp. • Your child will have to load his/her stuff that night

  9. What Not to Bring • Cell Phones • MP3/ipod • Jewelry • Anything that can break easily or can not be replaced

  10. Forms • Your child will bring home a packet that has 5 forms you will need to fill out and return by September 2. • Camper pledge and student conduct • Parental release • Health History • Medication Request • Medical/Insurance Information
