EOY UAT Schedule Update Test Week 8 • EOY 1 including Student Career Technical Education • CALPADS Pre-production environment should be available daily from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm with the exception of down time to support the Production release • An updated EOY UAT Known Issues and UAT Release Update were posted to the UAT FTP site on Wednesday 6/6/12 Recommended Testing Schedule for EOY UAT

  5. EOY UAT Status Update • Test Week 8 • Continue testing EOY 1 focusing on SCTE • SCTE Testing Update • Following SCTE modules were made available on 5/17 • Security Roles • Batch • Online • Input Validation Rules (IVRs) • Extracts (ODS and Rejected Records) • Submission Error Report

  6. EOY UAT Status Update • SCTE Testing Update, continued • Following modules were made available on 5/30 • ODS Reports (3.12, 3.13, 3.14, and 3.15) • Snapshot Reports (3.12, 3.13, 3.14, and 3.15) • Certification Errors (CVRs) • EOY 1 Snapshot including CTE data

  7. EOY UAT Status Update • Last Week • EOY 1 – 5 Execution logs submitted by LEAs • EOY 3 – 3 Execution logs submitted by LEAs • No execution logs submitted for EOY 2 and EOY 4 • This Week • Submit EOY 1 Execution log by end of day Friday

EOY Production Release Update • EOY 2, EOY 3, and EOY 4 will be released to Production on 6/11 • EOY 2 • Fixed 33 out of the 35 defects reported during UAT • Targeting to fix one additional defect for the 6/11 release • EOY 3 • Fixed 27 out of the 34 defects reported during UAT • Targeting to fix six additional defects for the 6/11 release • EOY 4 • Fixed 10 out of the 14 defects reported during UAT • Targeting to fix three additional defects for the 6/11 release

EOY UAT Reminders • LEAs should report their progress to the CDE using the UAT Test Scenario Execution Log and emailing the updated log once a week on Friday to the CALPADS UAT Service Desk account • calpadsuat-sd@cde.ca.gov • Please include the following in the title of the email: • “Execution Log 2011MMDD for XXXX ” • Where MM is and month submitted and DD is the day submitted and XXXX the name of your LEA • This Fridays Execution Log submittal should be titled as follows: “Execution Log 20110309 for Palo Alto Unified”

Next Steps • Complete execution (and retesting as needed) of the UAT Test Scenarios listed in the document located on the FTP site • Continue to review the updated Known Issues and Release Notes posted on the FTP site • Continue to report any issues or problems to the UAT Service Desk • Continue to submit Execution Log via CALPADS UAT Service Desk once a week (Fri by COB)

EOY UAT Service Desk Recap Reporting Problems to the Service Desk • LEA UAT participants should report all problems (potential defects, issues) as they are identified by emailing the UAT email account: • calpadsuat-sd@cde.ca.gov NOTE: DO NOT report UAT problems through the CALPADS webform • When reporting a PROBLEM include the following in your email: • Subject • Your name • Phone number • Bread crumb • Describe what you were doing, what you expected from the system, and what happened Requesting Help from the Service Desk • LEA UAT participants should request Help by emailing the UAT email account: • calpadsuat-sd@cde.ca.gov • When requesting HELP include the following in your email: • Subject (include the word “help”) • Your name • Phone number • CALPADS UAT user ID • Job # (if applicable) • Description of what you need help with 17
