  1. The Tribulation

  2. THE BLOWING OF 7 TRUMPETS

  3. U N L O C K I N G THE B I B L E

  4. Key #1 The proper understanding of some crucial books

  5. In order to keep yourself doctrinally straight in the dispensation we live in, there are 4 major books of the New Testament that you must understand. • Matthew • Acts • Hebrews • James • In order to fully understand those 4 books, you must have an understanding of the Old Testament and see that there is a vast amount of prophecy and it is not fulfilled yet . You must also understand who that prophecy is given to. NOTES

  6. To fully understand the Old Testament you must be able to rightly divide the book of Revelation and understand the truth in it. • To fully understand the book of Revelation you must be able to understand chapter 11 and rightly divide it. NOTES

  7. If you don’t have a proper view of the key books of the New Testaments than you will be claim verses that will send you off course, causing you to miss Heaven. NOTES

  8. THE SPECIFIC IMPORTANCE OF

  9. The teaching of the rebuilding of the temple (Rev.11: 1-2) The teaching of the 2 witnesses (Rev.11: 3) The teaching of the Beast (Rev.11:7) The teaching of the restoration of Israel (Rev.11: 8,2) (replacement theology) The teaching of the Rapture of the tribulation Saints (Rev.11:12) The teaching of the return of Christ (Rev.11: 15) NOTES

  10. Key #2 The proper placement of the Jew and the Nation of Israel

  11. We live in a time when 94% of confessing Christians believe in the Replacement theology • They believe that because we as Christians are spiritual Jews (Rom. 2) than we are also physical Jews. • If we are physical Jews then all the promises given to the Nation of Israel, is now given to the Church. • God replaced the Jews with Christians and the Nation of Israel with the Church NOTES

  12. (Rev 2:9) I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

  13. Key #3 The proper view toward the Millennial reign of Christ

  14. What you believe about the Jew will put you in one of 3 categories doctrinally concerning the Millennial Reign of Christ. • Pre-millennial • Post –millennial • Amillennial NOTES

  15. Rapture Characterized by a belief in a separation between Israel and the Church in the biblical time-line. Classic Dispensationalists believe that the biblical clock for Israel stopped running at the “Stoning of Steven” which began the Church Age. The clock will begin ticking again at the rapture when Christ returns for the Church.

  16. Characterized by a belief in a golden age(Millennium) brought to pass by spiritual means (ushering in the kingdom) before the return of Christ, also in direct contrast to Premillenialism. Also Post-Tribulational in relation to the Millenium and return of Christ.

  17. Literally means no Millennialism. This view is characterized by a belief that the Millennium may not be a “literal” 1000 year time period. Those who ascribe to this belief do not believe in the Millennium in the same sense as that of the Dispensationalists. They do not believe in a “literal” 1000 year reign of Christ on earth before the eternal state brought in by Christ’s return. This Millennium period is believed to occur symbolically/figuratively between the first and second advent of Christ.

  18. The difference between correct Bible doctrine and false doctrine is whether or not someone is a premillennialist. • A premillennialist knows where to place the Jew correctly in the scripture • Satan’s biggest device to cause people to go astray is the Bible out of context. By getting a person to apply a scripture to them self that was not intended for them they place themselves in false doctrine making them 2 fold the candidate of Hell NOTES

  19. Key #4 The proper application of doctrine in the New Testament

  20. BAPTISM Now that I am saved, where do I start ?

  21. (Act 2:37-38) Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

  22. (Act 16:29-31) Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

  23. What is the 1st rule of Bible study? • 2nd rule is whom was it written or address to • 3rd is when was it written or addressed NOTES

  24. The context is Peter preaching his 1st sermon to the nation of Israel. • The subject is addressed to the Jews about “you just crucified your long waited “Messiah” (Acts. 2:, 14, 22, 36) • This is 50 days after the cross. NOTES

  25. Speaking in tongues Is there a heavenly prayer language?

  26. (Heb2:3-4) How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

  27. (1Co 14:22) Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe. (1Co 1:22) For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

  28. Tongues were for the purpose of a sign for unbelieving Jews • All 3 times that the gift of tongues were used, there was always a unbelieving Jew is present. NOTES

  29. ETERNAL SECURITY Now that I am saved can I ever lose my Salvation

  30. (Heb6:4-6) For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

  31. (Jas 2:17-20) Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

  32. (Mat 24:11-) And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

  33. THE STOPPED CLOCK

  34. Those of us who are premillennialist believe in the fact that God has a stop watch. • This watch is running along as Israel is in the land and under his control • Anytime there is another power in control, God stops his clock • All of those that are not premillennialist, they fall under the false doctrine that God does not stop a clock for Israel, because God has replaced them with the Church. NOTES

  35. (Dan 9:24-25) Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

  36. (Dan 9:26-27) And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

  37. (1Ki 6:1) And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.

  38. (Act 13:16-19) Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, give audience. The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it. And about the time of forty years suffered he their manners in the wilderness. And when he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Chanaan, he divided their land to them by lot.

  39. (Act 13:20-) And after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet. And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years. And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

  43. The vast majority of the time in the total is taken up in the time of the Judges. • Therefore we must seek an answer in the book called Judges • The book of Judges is all about the nation of Israel and there consent time of going from a nation under God to Rebellion. • When their were under God, there was a judge placed over them and when they were in sin, God would send in a foreign nation to chastise them NOTES

  44. (Jdg 3:8) Therefore the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hand of Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia: and the children of Israel served Chushanrishathaimeight years. (Jdg 3:14) So the children of Israel served Eglon the king of Moab eighteen years. (Jdg 4:3) And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD: for he had nine hundred chariots of iron; and twenty years he mightily oppressed the children of Israel.

  45. (Jdg 6:1) And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Midianseven years. (Jdg 13:1) And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty years.
