  3. Stripes? (honesty) • When my grandmother was in grade school she got an E in red pen on her test. She lied and told her parents it meant excellent

  4. Family Traditions • On Sundays she and her family would walk to grandma’s house • It was expected to visit grandma • On Christmas Eve her family would sing for Santa Claus • It was fun singing for Santa

  5. Jobs • She was a secretary at a school • She loved being a secretary • She also worked putting employees money in their envelops • She worked for 12 years at her first job • She worked 21 years at her second job

  6. Neighborhood • Lived on top of a small hill • House did not have air conditioning so the windows had to stay open to let in cool air • Living there was noisy because trucks had to go into a different gear when they went up the hill

  7. In 3rd Grade • It was fun for her • She walked to school each day • Favorite subject was arithmetic

  8. Connection • My Grandmother believes in the Golden Rule and respect are the most important polices • I also agree that respect is very important and that everyday live the Golden Rule
