CC Meet/ Practice schedule: • Saturday, 8/24 SW Christian School- FW • Saturday, 9/7 TCC- Hurst • Monday, 9/16 SW Christian School- FW • Saturday, 9/28 Vandergriff PK- Arlington • Saturday, 10/5 Norbuck PK- Dallas • Friday, 10/11 Championship- TBA • Practices will be every Tuesday 4:15-5:15 (fee applies) and Thursday 4:15-5:45 unless specified otherwise. Pickup is at Bowen.

  3. Costs: Uniform: Order forms available today. Spirit shirts (optional) 8th period: 8th period is an after school program available for middle school students involved in athletics. During the Cross-Country season, 8th period is available on Tuesdays from 4:15-5:15. This class will consist of running and strength training The cost is $60 for the entire school year.

  4. Expectations: • We expect our athletes to have proper workout clothes as well as running shoes. If students forget workout clothes, they will not be allowed to practice. If your child is unable to attend a practice, please email Coach Heard at jheard@acaedu.net • Athletes are also expected to follow disciplinary guidelines set for the school. Disciplinary consequences will draw on the professional judgment of the coaches and/ or administrators, depending on the severity of the infraction. If a child is suspended from school, he or she will not be allowed to participate in the following competition. Athletes will be required to complete a grade check form. If a child receives a failing grade for the 9 week period, he or she will not be allowed to compete in a race as part of the ACA Cross-Country team until the grade improves as shown on the progress report. Progress reports go home September 13th. • Nutrition

  5. Fundraisers: Athletics relies strictly on fundraising events to pay for fees that apply. We are asking each family have an approved volunteer to work at least one fundraising event. Events as follows: Parent’s Night Out: 9/13, 12/13, 2/14, 4/11 Middle School Dance: Fall- 10/25, Spring- 3/21 Fundraising Committee Questions
