  4. Research questions • How long to arrive to pier • Where do you come from (to pier)

  5. Objectives • Find out the bicycles mobility near the pier • Achieve good transport linkage • Have a better understanding of Cheung Chau transportation • Figure out the solution of bicycles chaos

Conclusion • Mobility of people is high although transportation is not well-developed • Ferry become an important transport in Cheung Chau • People include the residents and large amount of tourists • Increase in commercial activities and tourism • People are more willing to develop Cheung Chau • Accessibility of Cheung Chau is high

  17. Suggestions • Adopt “Bike and Ride”system • onvenient people rent bicycle increase commercial activities • Reduce the area used to put aside the bicycle as the residents had complain that the bicycle occupies a rather large place

  18. Limitations • Lack of investigating time • Not enough recognition of Cheung Chau • The no. of vehicles are affected by different time • Hard to collect accurate data
