  44. Jeopardy Trivia Game Info This Jeopardy game was created using PowerPoint. It contains 4 categories with 5 questions per category plus a Final Jeopardy question for a total of 21 questions. The questions and answers can be easily modified, however, careful attention must be taken to ensure that the links are not removed. The game can be used in class as a way to reinforce readings, encourage discussion or as a test review. I>clickers can be paired with the game as the answer choices are set up as multiple choice allowing students or teams to vote on the correct response. See XXX for information on how to use I>clickers with PowerPoint. Using a Jeopardy Game In Class Open the PowerPoint file. Ensure that the Jeopardy Board is showing in the main work area and then click on the Slide Show icon in the bottom left corner of the screen to activate the board. Click on any Q$ to access a question. Click anywhere on the slide to move to the corresponding answer slide. Click on the Ram image on the lower right side of the screen to go back to the Jeopardy Board. You’ll notice that the previously selected question is now a light gray color indicating that the question has been used. Continue the process until the game ends. When finished with the game, click the ESC key on the keyboard to return to the Normal View. Click File > Close to leave the game. Editing the Questions and Answers Ensure the PowerPoint file is open. You’ll see that the main Jeopardy board is located on Slide 1. Make a working copy of the file in case the links are inadvertently deleted. You can do this by clicking on File > Save As > and then renaming the file (i.e., filename_v2) From Normal View locate the question slide you would like to change by using the scroll bar on the left side of the screen. Click on the question slide you would like to edit. Be sure to review the slide link information located in small grey text under the title. Notice in Figure 2, the slide says $200 Question from H1. This represents the $200 question from the column #1 (for example, “Name that Domain”) as shown in Figure 1. Click in the textbox and modify the question. Click in the image box to modify the image.
