  8. Strengthen the Nuclear Enterprise AFA urges support for improvement of our nuclear deterrent; applauds commitments to extend the service life of ICBMs & bombers and to produce a future long-range strike bomber

  9. Partner to WinToday’s Fights AFA supports partnering with other nations and key allies to extend presence worldwide…training and technology available to allies is critical to partnering

  10. Develop and Care forAirmen and Their Families AFA believes cost increases in pay and benefits accounts need to be controlled and selected actions may be appropriate to ensure they do not threaten to constrict spending necessary for mission success

  11. Modernization AFA urges support for funding to ensure new aircraft and weapons systems and necessary upgrades to be ready well before current capabilities reach the end of service lives to support Global Vigilance, Global Reach, Global Power needs

  12. RecaptureAcquisition Excellence AFA supports the Air Force in its commitment to acquisition excellence to provide better value to the taxpayers for national defense

  13. Industrial Base Crisis AFA urges the Administration and Congress to work together to establish a strategic plan to identify the most vital elements of a robust defense industrial base and the steps, including funding, needed to maintain its strength

  14. Total Force: More Important Than Ever AFA highly values the citizen Airmen of the Guard and Reserve and acknowledges that American airpower is more capable with their contribution and AFA supports all reasonable initiatives to further improve the Total Force

  15. Education is the Foundation AFA urges government, industry, and AFA’s peer organizations to increase this focus on the future need for STEM professionals
