  2. Route 1 At the beginning we get in touch with a no profit association. This association takes care of south american women when they arrived in Italy, helping and supporting women’s integration.

  3. Mostofthose women show interest in the opportunity and theyliketobeginuse computer.

  7. LEARNING CHAMPION WAS OFFICIALY INVOLVED IN THE PROJECT Shewill mediate between Fondazione L.Clerici and local community.

  8. TRAINING OF LEARNING CHAMPION • LearningChampionishelped on work on understanding software and touse software resources. • ShelearnstousePage Designer and PiCasa.

  9. LearningChampionlearnshowtoengagewithher community, howtosupportnewlearners and howtodistinguishpotentiallearningchampions.

  10. LEARNING CHAMPION IN ACTION • L.C. meetother women at cultural associations, at the church, at the community centre and shetryto involve them. • L.C. shows the resultsofher training and likelybenifits. • L.C. write up a listincludingsouth american women correspondingto the requirements and interested on the project.

  11. Local community centres are lackingof internet access, thisiswhy training take place in ourinformaticschoolrooms. • Mentor supports and assess Learning Champions during sessions.

  12. During every session Learning Champion and Mentor detected other potential Learning Champions in the working group.

  13. New Learning Champions are trained. • Theytryto involve other community members. • The Learning Champions will supports and show to the other people involved the results of their training.

  14. 32 subjects start touse the software • 9ofthemfinalizeonly the first Page Designer lesson (wefhad some troubleworking on software withschool internet access). • 8ofthemfinalizePage Designer lessons and usePege Designer on-line. • 15ofthem complete allPage Designer lessons and PiCasaLessons and testedbothsoftwares on-line.
