Úrovne vykonávania triggrov • Form level • The trigger belongs to the form and can fire due dto events across the entire form • Block level • The trigger belongs to a block and can only fire when this block is the current block • Item level • The trigger belons to an individual item and can only fire when this item is the current item

Typy triggrov • Key– • Fires in place of the standard action of a function key • On- • Fires in place of standart processing (used to replace or bypass a process) • Pre- • Fires on an event that occurs just before an action (for example, before a query is executed) • Post- • Fires just after an action (for example, after a query is executed) • When- • Fires in addition to standard processing (used to augment functionality)

Hierarchia vykonávania triggrov • Defaultne sa vykonáva trigger na najnižšej úrovni, pre ktorú je trigger definovaný • Vykonávanie je možné zmeniť nastavením execution hierarchy, čo je vlastnosť triggra: • Override (default) – vykoná sa len trigger na najnižšej úrovni voči kurzoru • After – po vykonaní triggra sa spustí ten istý trigger na najbližšej vyššej úrovni • Before – pred vykonaním triggra sa spustí ten isty trigger na najbližšej vyššej úrovni
