  1. Background • May 16, 2005 – Global was brought in by the user groups to meet with the user groups about issues with our existing facility • May 18, 2006 – Global was the program at Wake Up Wenatchee – the PFD legislation had passed out of a short session and we were on our way to forming the 9 jurisdiction Greater Wenatchee Regional Events Center Public Facilities District • May 17, 2007 – Wenatchee City Council ponders the status of the project

Wenatchee’s Waterfront Vision • Adopted February 2004 envisioning $240 million in projects • Press Conference for Project Announcements – October 6, 2005 • Legislation dropped – January 2006 • Deadlines stipulated – PFD formed by July 1, 2006 and under construction by January 31, 2007 • CERB JDF Grant submitted and ranked #4 by CERB Board on May 18, 2006 • When the CERB Grant was submitted – private projects totaled $219 million • Current private project total over $340 million
