Role: Mentee

When logging in for the first time I’ll need to “opt in” to the system.

Then I’ll provide some basic information about myself.

Role: Mentee

My Program Manager has invited me to participate in the E- Mentoring program. First I’ll log in to “My Services”.

Once logged in I see all of the programs I am involved in that I can find mentors for under the E-Mentoring area.

For each program there are two tabs, Docs & Management and Mentor.

Role: Mentee

Under “Docs & Management” there are my instructions and documents for the program.

Also my editable profile appears below.

To find a mentor for this program I simply click “Find A Mentor Now”.

The address I entered when I opted in to the system is already populated so I can find a mentor in my area.

Role: Mentee – Find a Mentor

The “Find a Mentor” form will help me filter through potential mentors.

I can click “More Search Options” to tailor my search further.

Role: Mentee – Find a Mentor

The search results display several choices. Some mentors are even available for “One Time Consultation”.

To view more detailed information about each mentor I click the View icon.

A mentor’s personal details are only made available when they accept an agreement.

  • When I find the mentor I want I’ll click:

  • “Ask for a One Time Consultation” - I’ll send the mentor a quick message.

  • “Choose This Mentor” - I’ll begin the process of a formal mentoring agreement.

E mentoring

Role: Mentee – Find a Mentor > Agreement

I’d like to enter a formal mentoring agreement.

I will confirm my information and look over the disclaimers and guidelines.

Finally I’ll choose my meeting preferences from choices designated by the mentor.

Role: Mentee – Find a Mentor > Agreement

Now I can review the details of my agreement. The proposal has been sent to the potential mentor for approval.

Only on approval will be able to learn the personal contact information of the mentor.

Role: Mentees

The “Mentor” tab available in each program shows the details of my mentoring agreements including the status.

Some agreements require the Program Manager’s approval as well as the mentor.

Once approved I will be able to contact the mentor and set up a meeting!

When the term of my mentoring relationship is over I will take the survey rating my experience!
