  3. WILL VS GOING TO • WILL • is used when we decide to do something at the time of speaking (spontaneously) • Example: • Dad’s car get flat tyre . I will take the bus then • It is raining hard. I will wear my raincoat

  4. GOING TO • Is used when we decide to do something before talking about it. Example : 1. x : Have you dicided where to go? y : Yes. I am going to go to Lombok this Holiday. 2. x : Why is Ronald selling his motorcycle? y : He is going to buy a car.

  5. EXERCISE Complete the sentences with “Will” or “going to” 1. The boat is full of water. It is going to sink 2. My brothers………….. Build a tree house. 3. The sky is very dark. It……………..rain. 4. Let’s get into the train. It…………Leave. 5. I think I………wear a dress to the party. 6. Mom………..bake some cakes today. 7. I….(not) ride my bike to school. It is broken 8.   6. GIVING SUGGESTION • SHOULD • Is a modal verb. It can be used to make advise and give suggestion Other expression to give suggestion : I’d suggest……. Why don’t you……… You could …………. Have you tried………….. Example : (+) He should bring small luggage. (?) Should he bring small luggage? (-) He shouldn’t bring small luggage.

  7. EXERCISE Give suggestion for someone who is thinking of going out of town using “should” or “shouldn’t” 1. You should pack enough clothes. 2.
