Traffic Projections

As per IRC-37:2001 7.5% increase in traffic per Annum

As per Model Concession Agreement 6% increase in traffic per Annum

For pavement design :

CBR : 10%

VDF :

BUS 1.5

Truck 3.5

LCV 1.5

Hence for crust design purposes as per IRC-37:2001

slide36

Laning Requirement

Capacity of 2 lane with earthen shoulder exhausting in year 2023 in respect of Borunda to Khariameethapur, in year 2025 in respect Bilara to Sojat and year 2030 in respect to reach from Gotan to Borunda hence to two lane with paved Shoulder will be required.

slide40

Location of Proposed Toll Plazas

  • To make Toll realization realistic and to facilitate public of this area the entire road has been divided into 4 Toll Zones.
  • The Toll Plazas do not fall with in 10 Km Municipal Area
  • The Toll collected at one of the plazas will be verified at the other one.
slide46

Toll Realisation

For Toll Realisation following exemption have been made

Of the net Tollable Traffic 85% Toll realisation has been assumed in the project viability calculation.
