Commercial Transport Accident HistoryIATA Safety Data 2004 – 2010 There were 688 total commercial accidents during this period: • 188 of these accidents were runway excursions • 22 runway excursion accidents involved fatalities • This resulted over 643 passenger and crew fatalities Runway Excursions 27% EUR RRSS, Amsterdam 8/3/2012
