Application package Application: • Application form (S51) – template provided • Three year strategic plan, with a Gant Chart for the first 12 months - no template, Gant Chart example provided • Triennial budgetary estimation – no template • Detailed budget for the first 12 months – example provided Supporting documents: • Information on the global income and expenditure for the past 3 years, for each applicant concerned • Registration documents for each applicant concerned • Letters of support for each associate listed. • Partnership Agreement signed between all applicants, clearly indicating that power of representation is given to the lead applicant.

  24. Scoring explained • Relevance – proposal grasps priority issues, applicants have experience and have achieved impact while tackling them. • Planning feasible – proposal is implementable given the local context, with clear outputs, measurable results and specific outcomes. • Beneficial to community – activities’ effects on citizens, interest groups and/or public are clear and significant. • Innovative –proposal tests practices that may be effective ways of resolving social needs. • Membership organizations –are those that are based on membership on behalf of which the organization acts, protecting their interest. Types include consumers organizations, organizations of people with disabilities, entrepreneurs, patients, students, professional associations etc. In all those members have a clear say in decision making. • The Embassy will put emphasis on both thematic and geographic diversity among the recipients.

  25. Other details • An applicant (lead or partner) may at the same time act as the applicant (lead or partner) in another application; however support will only exceptionally be awarded in such cases. • Any attempt to obtain confidential information and/or influence the Embassy and/or consultants assessing the received proposals by the applicants, associates or other interested parties will immediately lead to exclusion. • The Embassy may make some suggestions to the applicant regarding certain modifications of the proposals concerning the budget and the planned activities. Applicants have the right to accept or refuse these suggestions, but they shall not be the subject of further negations. • Decisions not to award grants are final. • In case of the successful application, the Embassy will sign the contract with the lead and partner applicants.
