  14. What does Tangent Ratio mean? Tangent Ratio means the ratio between the opposite & adjacent sides of 1 of the non-right s in a right triangle. As long as the s are the same, that ratio remains constant, regardless of the size of the sides. (Remember what we said about similar triangles?)
