brisk Brisk means quick and fast. These people were taking a brisk walk because it was cold outside.

brisk The rooster walked with a brisk, springy walk. I rode my bike in a brisk way. The opposite of brisk is slow.

strutted If you strutted across a room, then you walked like you were the most important person in the world.

negotiate When you negotiate, you talk, and offer to give up one thing in exchange for another, in hopes of reaching an agreement.

compromise When each side in an argument gives up part of what it wants, then the sides have made a compromise.
